Ernie Winters gave a presentation for the Rock Art Foundation. They are
looking for monitors (people to keep an eye on the site (the petroglyphs) when
they are not out there). They want to map the site to protect what is out there
and to correct the vandalism done to some of the art. There is a newsletter with
lots of information in it. June 6th through the 9th will
be the first session of mapping the site.
8. Phil McKenna, representing Fire Safe Highlands has a grant and
wants to redo all the street signs in the Highlands. They would be brown and
gold metal reflective signs on metal posts. 116 signs to do. He will provide a
sample at the annual meetings of the 1’s and the 10’s. This is a Federal
Grant.
Continue
